Amb. Bello Kazaure Husseini
High Commissioner
Amb. Bello Kazaure Husseini (ChiromanRuganKazaure) joined the Nigeria Foreign Service in 1993 and was posted to budget Department after completing the mandatory Foreign Service Academy in Lagos in 1994. From 1995 to 1998, he worked in protocol Department as Personal Assistant to two Chiefs of Protocol before being posted to High Commission of Nigeria, Zimbabwe on one year attachment programme. On his return in 2009, Amb Bello was deployed to Trade and Investment Division, where he served for two years. In 2002, he was deployed to the office of the special Assistant to the president on conflict Resolution before he was posted to High Commission of Nigeria, New Delhi in 2003 where he served until 2007. After his tour of duty in 2007, he was deployed to Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (TAC) as Personal Assistant to the Director General.
After spending two years in TAC, Amb. Bello was sent to the Embassy of Nigeria in Kuwait from 2012 to 2013 where he served as Head of Chancery and Charge D’Affairesa.i. He worked in the office of the Honourable Minister of state II, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was later posted to the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to 2014, where he was attached to the wife of the former Vice President as Director of Protocol. After serving in the state House, he was posted to the Embassy of Nigeria in Japan where he subsequently became the Charge D’affairs ad interim in 2016, before being appointed as High Commissioner of Nigeria to Australia with Concurrent accreditation to New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.
